Our institute is among the very few medical institutions in Northern India which has the newly developed and updated Philips Brilliance range of medical imaging equipment. It contains MDTC (Multi Detection Computerized Tomography) with MRC Tube which enables faster scanning by reducing waiting in-between sequencing. It also has O-MAR and iDose4 technology which highly reduces noise and improves image quality thereby giving excellent imaging results for accurate diagnosis.
The role of CT scanning becomes very important at places where MRI cannot be performed due to certain physical restrictions of patient’s body, such as metallic implants in the teeth, bones or organs. MRI can prove to be deadly in such cases and that is why CT scanning is used to diagnose any disease in such patients.
